In cooperation with CzechInvest’s regional offices, regional innovation centres and the Ministry of Transportation, the MIH is currently mapping the status of and plans for urban mobility in the regions of the Czech Republic with the aim of identifying suitable areas for the placement of “live” test environments, in actual urban or suburban traffic in order to support the deployment of new technologies and business models in everyday life for the purpose of making transport in cities more pleasant and less expensive. This activity fits into the European initiative https://www.eiturbanmobility.eu/city-club/mobility-living-labs/, which associates innovative European cities and facilitates for them the transfer of know-how, technologies and resources for implementing innovative urban mobility solutions.
